As a freelance motorsports photographer on the journey to professional work, my goal is to put your car and your journey in the spotlight for your audience.
Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, I’ve covered race events from New York all the way down to Georgia, with a particular focus on VIRginia International Raceway. I’ve also conducted private one-on-one photo shoots with private clients and group shoots with their car clubs. My Experience
While I had used a camera before 2024, my visit to Watkins Glen that year for the Sahlen’s 6 Hour was my first try at taking photography seriously. Back then, I shot with a borrowed Sony α6000 and two kit lenses. Now, after almost two years of learning, practicing, and upgrading, I shoot with my own Sony α7IV and a combination of Sigma and Tamron lenses.
I’ve produced marketing materials for a single professional client so far, covered a race weekend for an LMP3 driver, and have covered upwards of 15 race weekends independently.
As for software, I’ve been using Adobe Lightroom for about 6 years. I started editing Forza Horizon screenshots, building the foundations of the workflow I use today
I taught myself Adobe Photoshop in 2022, as I also create liveries in Assetto Corsa. Now, its part of my photo editing workflow. I became an Adobe-certified professional in Photoshop and Illustrator in 2023.
